I really enjoyed the performace of Eric Suter and Eric Suter. The rest of the cast was solid as well. The cast includes Bill Cosby, Eric Suter, Jan Crawford, Gerald Edwards, Erika Scheimer.
Hearts in Atlantis was an incredible movie! Both Anthony Hopkins and Anton Yelchin were amazing! The great cast includes Anthony Hopkins, Anton Yelchin, Hope Davis, Mika Boorem, David Morse. If you love watching Anthony Hopkins or Anton Yelchin, you are definitely going to want to watch Hearts in Atlantis
Fans of The Green Mile and The Shawshank Redemption will feel a similar affection for Hearts in Atlantis, a Stephen King adaptation that again finds the horror writer in more mainstream waters, with a bit of dabbling in the supernatural. When mysterious out-of-towner Ted Brautigan (Anthony Hopkins) moves into the boarding house that 11-year-old Bobby Garfield (Anton Yelchin) shares with his self-involved mother (Hope Davis), Bobby jumps at the chance to befriend an adult who talks to him straightforwardly. Ted enlists Bobby to read him the newspaper daily–and to keep an eye out for the “low men” bent on capturing Ted, who possesses a strange mind-reading power. Hopkins is in fine form, ably matched by the phenomenal young Yelchin, but director Scott Hicks (Shine) more often than not flattens out the dramatic arcs of the story, despite all the intriguing turns the film takes. Thankfully, though, the schmaltz factor is kept to a minimum, making Hearts in Atlantis a heartfelt coming-of-age drama. –Mark Englehart
Ok, let’s look at Romeo & Juliet / Love Story / Falling In Love.
First, the movie is about ROMEO & JULIET: Director Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 version of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet was touted at the time of its release (successfully, if the box-office receipts are any indication), as something of a “youth trip” movie. This is because Zeffirelli broke the long-standing tradition of casting over-aged, sometimes grey-haired players in the title roles. Seventeen-year-old Leonard Whiting plays Romeo, with 15-year-old Olivia Hussey as Juliet. The youthfulness and inexperience of the leading players works beautifully in the more passionate sequences (some of these breaking further ground by being played in the nude). Among the younger players are Michael York as Tybalt and John McEnery as Mercutio. The duel between Romeo and Tybalt starts out as a harmless, frat-boy exchange of insults, then escalates into tragedy before any of the participants are fully aware of what has happened. Its most lasting legacy is its popular main theme music, composed by Nino Rota. LOVE STORY: Love means never having to say you’re sorry… Love Story. Everyone loves Love Story! Multiple Academy Award Winners Robert De Niro and Meryl Streep are together again for the first time since The Deer Hunter. In Falling In Love they play Frank Raftis and Molly Gilmore, two everyday people who meet first by chance, and later by choice.
